Hamilton Gets a Double Dose of Comedy!

Due to popular demand the 7 Days LIVE Tour has confirmed a second show for the Hamilton people!

The 4th of November will see the 7 unruly comics back in town for their two-part comedy show. The first half will see the comedians perform their own stand up when the second half will be the award-winning TV3 show format.

Did we just say award-winning? We did - Saturday 12th November at the Aotearoa Film and TV Awards saw the team pick up 'Best Comedy' with presenter Jeremy Corbett winning the 'Best Presenter' gong.

“Hamilton used to be a city that the 7 Days team would occasionally rib and poke fun at. As producer I always frowned on this, but as it saved my home town of Palmerston North being the butt of the jokes, I often turned a blind eye. Now Hamilton is our favourite city because the 7 Days Live show there was the first in the country to sell out. So we are coming back for another show. I’d like to say this new status will mean that Hamilton will no longer be taken the piss out of, but I can’t make that sort of promise”. Jon Bridges, 7 Days producer.
