Wellington Blaze team for second round
Action Cricket competitions
The Wellington Blaze squad to host the Northern Spirit at Barton Oval at Trentham Memorial Park in round two of the 2011-12 domestic Women’s Action Cricket Cup One-Day and Action Cricket Twenty20 competitions on 9, 10 and 11 December is:

There are three changes and one additional player to the Blaze squad (13 players) that beat the Otago Sparks in all three matches in the season opener at Mosgiel last weekend.
Allex Evans and Renee Moffitt were not considered for selection due to injury and Kelly Sutherland is unavailable for this round.
Rebecca Burns, Maddy Chapman, Suzie McDonald and Thamsyn Newton join the squad.
Wicket-keeper Andrea Stockwell will play her 50th first-class 50-over game. This includes 14 matches for Central Districts.
Last year, the Blaze beat the Northern Spirit by 48 runs and 8 wickets in their two Action CricketTwenty20 matches and defeated them by 25 runs in a high scoring 50-over match.
The Spirit had a Twenty20 loss and two abandonments due to rain in their first set of matches against the Central Hinds last weekend.
