ZOWIE to Support ROXETTE in NZ

Auckland based synth-pop diva Zowie will support Roxette for their concert at Auckland’s Vector Arena on Saturday 11 February 2012, replacing Dragon who have cancelled due to scheduling issues.

Zowie’s debut single Broken Machine went Gold in NZ and her catchy electro chants have garnered much international attention. MTV Iggy (www.mtviggy.com) named Zowie as one of the Top 10 Best New Bands in the World, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton invited her to play at his One Night in Austin SXSW (one of the largest music festivals in the USA) after-party and the New York Times named her as the First Day Pick of the CMJ Music Marathon.

The single Smash It, released shortly after Zowie’s 11 date Australasian Tour as the opening act for Katy Perry, featured in the hit US TV show Pretty Little Liars.
