Winner Of The X-Factor Australia Christchurch Show

February 22, 2012

Due to overwhelming demand, Reece Mastin, winner of The X-Factor Australia, has added a Christchurch date to his upcoming tour of New Zealand.

Reece will now perform three New Zealand shows, playing Christchurch’s CBS Canterbury Arena on April 10th, Wellington’s TSB Arena on April 12th and Auckland’s Vector Arena on April 14th.

With his unique rocker style and infectious performances, Reece has quickly become a firm local favourite. His debut single Good Night shot straight to #1 on the iTunes New Zealand chart when released following the local broadcast of The X-Factor Australia final on Saturday night, and today debuted at #2 on the New Zealand Top 40 Singles Chart after less than two days sales.

Reece’s self-titled debut album, available now, features 11 new recordings of songs that he performed on The X-Factor Australia, including Paradise City (Guns N’ Roses), She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5), Joker And The Thief (Wolfmother) and I Kissed A Girl (Katy Perry), along with lead single Good Night.
