Chance To Win Hayden Paddon Rally Tour
12 March 2012
Hayden Paddon is offering a
passionate rally fan the opportunity to join the team’s
official rally tour for Brother Rally New Zealand in
June.
“We’re looking for a passionate New Zealand World Rally Team fan or team mascot to join us as part of our tour at WRC Brother Rally New Zealand in Auckland from 20 to 25 June this year,” says Paddon from his base in Montgat, Spain.
The winner gets to enjoy being part of the official Hayden Paddon Rallysport tour at Brother Rally New Zealand, a prize worth $1,399.
“It’s straightforward to enter – a fan from anywhere in the world simply needs to have a photo taken of themselves in their best Hayden Paddon-supporting attire – either rally clothing or as a ‘mascot’ – and then they send it to our special email address, competition@paddonrallysport.co.nz by this Friday 16 March. The top ten entries will go up on our Facebook page where our 13,000 fans will have the chance to vote for their favourite,” says Paddon.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing how creative people can be using Paddon rally attire or as a special team mascot. It’s a great prize for any mad keen rally fan!”
Entrants need to be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to join the rally tour and any flights needed to join the tour at its starting point in Auckland, New Zealand are the responsibility of the winner.
The New Zealand World Rally Team (NZWRT) tour starts on 20 June and takes in a range of live rally action on the tour’s own rally bus during the World Rally Championship event. Tour participants also enjoy special opportunities to share a meal with Paddon and co-driver John Kennard. Full details of the tour for Brother Rally New Zealand are available by visiting the rally tours page of www.haydenpaddon.com or emailing katie@paddonrallysport.co.nz.
Paddon and his team are also organising a tour to see him in action in his Skoda Fabia S2000 during Rally Spain in November which will have similar elements to the New Zealand tour such as accommodation, fantastic rally viewing and opportunities to spend time with the team. The Spanish event is based in Salou, an hour south of Barcelona, and consists of one day of gravel followed two days of tarmac.
“Both rally tours are open to fans from all over the world. With the experienced drivers from Rally Tours NZ, who are passionate rally fans themselves, at the wheel, our tour parties can simply enjoy a premium way to catch the best rally action,” says Paddon.
Paddon is currently preparing to compete at his second Super 2000 World Rally Championship event, Rally Portugal, at the end of March, after successfully finishing Rally Sweden, his first-ever event on snow, during February. Paddon’s 2012 campaign is supported by PlaceMakers, Giltrap Group, Skoda, Cameron Sea and Airfreight, Granger Design, Castrol, Raiseys, New Balance, Pope Print, Racetech, Chicane Racewear, Endless Brake Pads, 1 Group web design and Brita Safety.
