Tony Irving and Neil Mackay duo with Jeff Henderson/Hermione Johnson duo

Tony Irving and Neil Mackay will be performing as an improvised drum & bass duo.
Tony Irving formed the improvisation duo Ascension in London in the 90's latterly with former Skullflower and Whitehouse guitarist Stefan Jaworzyn. He has played with Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo, Pat Thomas, Lol Coxhill amongst others and recorded a CD with British Jazz legend Paul Dunmall. In an augmented line up as Descension with Simon Fell and Charles Wharf they almost caused a riot supporting Sonic Youth in London. Since 2005 Irving has been residing in Brisbane where he has been building percussion guitars.
Neil Mackay has played in the British drone/avant-noise group The Hair and Skin Trading Company, Loop (with Robert Hampson - Main), Juicy Eureka & Unity Gain.
Special guests Jeff Henderson and Hermione Johnson will be performing as a duo before Irving/Mackay.

This weekend - Saturday March 31 (9pm start) and Sunday April 1st (4pm start):

Mr Sackman performance
A musical stage play produced and directed by Karin & Markus Hofko.
Accompanied by a 7-piece band - described as 'Theatre Of The Absurd meets Monty Python'
