THROUGH CHILDREN'S EYES: AN EXHIBITION BY THE CHILDREN OF MIRAMAR NORTH KINDERGARTEN

OPENING: 5.30 - 7.30pm Tuesday 24 April.
OPEN: Closed Wednesday (Anzac Day) Thursday - Friday 2.00 - 6.00pm and Saturday 10.00am - 4.00pm.

The world through children's eyes is completely different to how adults see it. Art is a powerful way for them to communicate what they see and what is important to them. They are not restricted or limited by adult concepts and ideas.

This exhibition is a collection of photos, taken by the children of the Miramar North Kindergarten community, as well as art of other media such as painting, drawing and sculpture.

Ace Antics presents a variety of artworks from the Ace House, a learning centre for adults with intellectual disabilities based in Mt Victoria, Wellington that has operated since 1928.

The Ace House promotes independence, creativity and community participation. We often rely on local businesses that kindly donate goods such as wool, tiles, paint and other craft supplies. The Artists are all local to Wellington and well immersed in their communities. They have reached amazing results through their art and offer a very unique insight to the world we live in.
