An Almighty Casting Confirmation for Silo’s
Tribes
You may recognize one of them as being a god amongst men. Well, a young god amongst men. While the other perhaps you’re familiar with the most recent retelling of the battle against the Wilberforces?
Silo are proud to announce two additional cast members to their upcoming season of Nina Raine’s TRIBES, playing at the Maidment Theatre from June 8th; Emmett Skilton and Leon Wadham.
Skilton should be no stranger to NZ audiences; playing the lead character Axl in TV3’s smash hit The Almighty Johnsons. Emmett joins the cast in the role of Daniel, the elder son of the family.
Taking up the challenging lead role as the young Deaf family member Billy, is 2011 Toi Whakaari graduate, Leon Wadham. Wadham, is most familiar to New Zealand audiences for his role as Ricky in the remake of Under The Mountain.
Both Skilton and Wadham join a cast that already boasts the likes of Michael Hurst, Catherine Wilkin, Fern Sutherland and Jodie Hillock, making this unique and globally celebrated play one of the highlights of the theatre calendar for 2012.
