The Food Show Wellington returns from 11 to 13 May 2012 at Westpac Stadium with a blast of new features, new exhibitors, and a fabulous line-up of free live cooking demos.
1. The Kenwood Kitchen – new feature in Wellington
Free live demonstrations from outstanding chefs, every day of the show. See how to make superb cuisine with Brett McGregor, plus chefs from Logan Brown, La Bella Italia and Martha's Pantry. Discover the art of cocktail making from the Matterhorn's Riki Carter and see Delonghi's Giovanni Infantino demonstrating how to make beautiful coffee at home.
2. Masterclass Series, in association with Waipara Hills and Sanpellegrino
The masters are in the house for these exclusive classes, limited to just 50 seats per session. Learn all about seafood preparation, food styling, healthy gourmet cooking, wine,beer and food matching, and how to make an unforgettable high tea. Classes presented by Al Brown, Ray McVinnie, Nadia Lim, Lauraine Jacobs, Simon Holst, and Annabelle White. Plus, in honour of Mother’s Day on 13 May, Nadia Lim will host a special champagne breakfast session. Tickets are $50 per class and include a gift valued at $40 – get in quick or miss out.
3. Electrolux Cooking Theatre – featuring new season MasterChef NZ contestants
See all-day cooking demosfrom top Kiwi and international chefs, free with entry to the show. This year’s line-up includes the popular Chelsea Winter and Brenton Thornton, contestants from the new season of MasterChef NZ. Plus, demos from Al Brown, Ray McVinnie, Richard Till, Helen Jackson, Nadia Lim, Annabelle White, Nici Wickes and Claire Aldous. What’s more, Alison and Simon Holst will present a special mother and son demo on Mother's Day.
4. New foods, drinks and special deals
