Auckland Museum presents for the first time CAMERA Season of Photography, a major showcase of some of the most remarkable wildlife and documentary photography from New Zealand and around the world.

Inside the exhibition we've created The CAMERA Lounge to host weekly sessions with experts from the world of film and photography and the CAMERA Family Space featuring daily activities for the whole family. There is free entry to all exhibitions.

The world’s most prestigious wildlife photography exhibition opens at Auckland Museum in June. Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2011 draws together 108 of the world’s best wildlife images curated by London’s Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine.

NZ LIFE: NZ Geographic - Award Winning Photography 2009-2011

NZ LIFE draws together the photographic highlights from the past three years of the prestigious NZ Geographic Photographer of the Year competition. The exhibition showcases the work of professionals and talented amateurs whose images encapsulate NZ LIFE.

NZ Geographic: Photographer of the Year - Competition 2012

The finalists of the NZ Geographic’s 2012 competition will be exhibited in the six weeks leading up to the annual award. For the first time, visitors will be able to vote for their favourite in the People’s Choice Award.
