World of live sport now online with TAB Watch&Bet

Sports fans rejoice – a vast range of world sport is now available online for free via the TAB’s new live sport streaming service, TAB Watch&Bet.

TAB Watch&Bet will offer up to 8500 sports events a year shown live on www.tab.co.nz.

TAB account customers will be able to watch and bet on live global sports including Wimbledon, ATP 1000 Tennis, international basketball and Asian, European and North and South American football.

TAB sports bookie Mark Stafford said TAB Watch&Bet had been developed and launched to meet growing customer demand for live betting on a range of sporting competitions and events not available elsewhere.

“For example, there are a lot of passionate football fans who follow English Championship and League One football can’t watch games broadcast live to have a bet on.

“TAB Watch&Bet offers that opportunity, with a huge amount of top-flight world sport punters might not otherwise have the chance to see.”

The first weekend of the new service, which was switched on a 6am this morning (Friday), features the mouth-watering clash between Kiwi Winston Reid’s West Ham and Blackpool in a English Premier League promotion clash at 2am on Sunday morning.

Wimbledon will also be a huge attraction.

“We’re less than 40 days’ out from the start of the tournament and, at this stage, TAB Watch&Bet is the only service offering live coverage.”

TAB Watch&Bet is a free and exclusive service available to TAB account customers whose accounts are in credit.

Sports and events on offer include:

• Football: European internationals, Carling Cup, English Championship and League One, US Major League Soccer, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Dutch Eredivisie, Chinese Super League, Asian Champions League
• Tennis: Wimbledon, ATP series, Davis Cup
• Basketball: FIBA tournaments, Turkish and Spanish leagues
• Darts and snooker
• Cricket: KFC Big Bash
