Children Band Together For Creative Holiday Fun
Children Band Together For Creative Holiday Fun
Cookie-creation workshops, jungle masks, stained-glass-window sandwiches…must be the school holidays!
For parents looking for a fun escape for their children (or even from their children), Botany Town Centre has an array of activities lined up throughout this school holiday period.
For starters, Kellogg’s will be running a kids’ activity spot outside Life Pharmacy between 4 – 8 July. The half-hour slots are jam-packed with crafty activities such as animal rock-making to jungle biscuit-decorating. The sessions are free to attend and have been designed for children from five to 10 years of age. Bookings are not needed – simply show up and join in with the fun.
Elsewhere, between 9 – 13 July Muffin Break will hold cookie-creation workshops for children of all ages to attend with their parents.
For just $7 each, children will be given cookie dough, decorations, aprons and hats – and permission to let their imaginations run wild in the forming of their own cookie masterpieces.
“Cooking at home with the children generally involves a lot of mess,” says Botany Town Centre marketing manager Desiree Clark. “We are looking forward to hosting children in the centre and taking care of the mess for local parents!”
To book and pay for the Muffin Break workshop, visit the Botany Town Centre Visitors Centre.
Whitcoulls will also be hosting holiday fun with a kids’ zone in-store. Other activities such as cheap movies before midday at Hoyts and vertical bungy action in Town Square, will keep the children entertained.
