They form a team of internationally renowned dancers and represent the best of the best in the B-Boy scene. They will also judge the Red Bull BC One Asia Pacific Qualifier and make special performances that night.
“We are the future of this dance, so let’s pass it down to the next generation,” says Roxrite from Mexico, the current World Champion who holds the most Number 1 titles any B-Boy has ever had.
The Red Bull BC One event in Auckland will welcome all of the Asia Pacific finalists, which include two of our very own New Zealand B-Boys, Grub-D and Akorn, both hailing from Christchurch. Momentum is building as the six global qualifiers decide their winners; only one competitor from the Asia Pacific Qualifier will win a chance to battle the best of the best at the Red Bull BC One World Final later this year in Rio, Brazil.
The Red Bull BC One Asia
Pacific Qualifier takes place at Auckland’s Vector Arena
on September 1 with tickets strictly limited and available
from Ticketmaster. Doors open at 6pm, competition starts
