Replay XD & Shelby Auto Care Partner with Tasman Motorsports Group

Tasman Motorsports Group (TMG) has confirmed its first two partners for their V8 SuperTourer campaign with the announcement that Replay XD & Shelby Auto Care will be joining the team.

Distributed in New Zealand by Digital Logistics Group Ltd, Replay XD, is a new range of ultra-lightweight cameras, and motorsports specific mounts which provide a previously unseen way to capture the visceral excitement of action sports and putting the viewer at the heart of the action.

Also new to the New Zealand market, Shelby Auto Care a division of Shelby American Inc, provides a range of professional car care cleaning products for the motoring enthusiast, including Quick Easy Spray Wax, Rubber & Vinyl Protectant and Liquid Wax.

Digital Logistics Group Ltd, Managing Director Grant Eveleigh says he is excited to join TMG in the V8 SuperTourer series provides the perfect platform to launch the two new brands into the New Zealand market.

“Having recently launched these two brands here in New Zealand, I am extremely excited to further promote Replay XD to the extreme sports market, but also such an iconic American automotive brand like Shelby. I know TMG have a rich heritage in motorsport and are proven winners in everything they have campaigned, I’m proud to be partnering the team in V8 SuperTourers,” says Eveleigh.

The Replay XD1080 at only 85 grams and 28mm x 93mm is the smallest and lightest 1080P camera on the market. Whether shooting on a movie set, from the hood of a race car, flying high on a motocross bike, mountain bike, snowboard, or carving through a wave, the Replay XD1080 can capture rock solid jaw-dropping video where others simply cannot.

“TMG and V8 SuperTourers provide the perfect platform to demonstrate the prowess of the Replay XD1080, which features color rich 1080p or 960p HD video at 30 frames per second or 720p HD at 30/60 frames per second for high-speed action.”

TMG Team Principal Steve Horne says Replay XD & Shelby Auto Care are two great partner brands to have onboard with the team.

“The Replay XD 1080 camera’s we have onboard not only allow us to share all the on track action from any angle in and on the car, but we also use them as a data acquisition tool to overlay lap footage with the cars onboard data after each session. The drivers and engineers analyse the footage against the onboard data in search of gains and improvements,” says Horne.

Further partners and TMG’s #31 V8 SuperTourer livery will be revealed later this week.
