Six60 Summer Tour: special guests David Dallas & Iva Lankum

10 October 2012

MASSIVE ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS:

Six60 Summer Tour with special guests including David Dallas and Iva Lamkum

Following on from an extremely successful worldwide tour earlier in 2012 and five New Zealand Music Award nominations Six60 is bringing the live and massive back home to New Zealand this summer. Hailing back to their 2008 Dunedin roots, when they were playing small living room concerts to friends and family, this will be the ultimate house party and it’s coming to a stage near you.

Summer 2011 saw Six60 perform a sell-out tour playing to over 15,000 people in just 7 shows, but this year the tour will prove even more massive with very special guests bringing their own party favours along the way.

One such special guest is David Dallas. With hits such as ‘Take A Picture’ and ‘Start Lookin’ Round’ David has recently completed a 50-date tour of the USA with indie darlings AER and released his latest project ‘Buffalo Man’ for free on www.daviddallas.co.nz. (David Dallas is not performing on the 27th and 29th December).

For the first two shows in Wellington and New Plymouth, the beautiful Iva Lamkum will be bringing her critically acclaimed unique and funky blend of new-rave indie soul to warm up the stage.

And for one extremely special show on January the 5th, David Dallas will once again join Six60 along with very special guests; the legendary Shihad, platinum selling Kiwi rock group I Am Giant and Australian rockabilly act King Cannons. That’s a dynamic line up straight out of a house party stereo – live on stage in the flesh - and one not to be missed.

Lead singer Matiu Walters says he and the guys are looking forward to Touring NZ again over summer. “We can't wait to get back on the road and smash out another tour – house party styles, and bringing along some special guests for the ride.”

Six60 is inviting you (and your flatmates, and their mates) to the live and massive party this summer.
