Laneway Festival Announces 6 More Artists to Lineup

Laneway Festival Announces 6 More Artists to Lineup

Over the next 5 weeks, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival will announce six more acts to their already super-exciting artist line-up.

Each Monday at 9am, a new artist will be announced. A tease you suggest? We like keeping your anticipation, and at this time of year, you could compare the process to the opening a Christmas Advent calendar. And keeping with tradition, the new Laneway artists are all exciting - some new / some more established. In total there are 5 more International artists and one local to be announced –and all fantastic live.

First out of the bag – or behind the cardboard flap if it was a Christmas advent calendar – KINGS OF CONVENIENCE.

Kings Of Convenience are a folk duo from Bergen, Norway. Their music is known for their delicate tunes, calming voices, and intricate and subtle guitar melodies. It will be the first time Erland Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe have performed in NZ.

There is no word yet whether Erland Øye will perform any tracks from his side electronic project ‘The Whitest Boy Alive’ but we will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
