Where does the Personal Computer fit in our lives?

Where does the Personal Computer fit in our lives?

Some time in the year 2008, one billion personal computers were in use, worldwide. The second billion is expected to be reached in another 2 years.

To get an informed understanding of where they, and their related devices such as smartphones and play-stations, can profitably fit in our lives, we can turn to magazines which give information, advice and product catalogues.

New Zealand is well served by PC World NZ and this week's guest In Conversation with Noel Cheer on Triangle Television is the editor, Zara Baxter.

Triangle Television, Wednesday 5th of December at 7:00pm. It will be repeated on Thursday 6th of December at 12 noon.

Triangle Television, the home of public broadcasting, can be received in the Auckland region on UHF Channels 41, 42 and 52.

Triangle Television is also transmitted live on streaming TV which can be received (as a live feed) on broadband-connected computers and on Internet-connected television sets throughout New Zealand. Point your Media Server or Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, ...) to www.ecasttv.co.nz

From next February, Triangle Television will be re-branded as "Face Television" and will be available on Sky Channel 89. Face Television will also continue to broadcast on UHF in Auckland until later in the year when the analogue service will be withdrawn. Further details will be provided as they become available.

In Conversation with Noel Cheer receives funding from New Zealand on Air. This has enabled us to introduce viewers to over 200 New Zealanders on Air during nearly 6 years of unbroken weekly broadcasting.
