is heading to The Kings Arms,
Auckland for the 2013 NZ
National Final!
GBOB is a huge international event involving over 30 countries, worldwide. The first prize is worth US$100,000 and gives the winners the amazing title of ‘Best New Band in the World’!
The competition is heating up for the six Finalists that have made it through their Heat to the NZ National Final. They will battle for a place in the Australasian Final, where the winner will go on to represent Australasia on the World Stage.
The bands competing in the NZ National Final
are: In Company, Knights of the Dub Table,
Day
3, Sunscope, The Whisky Show and Them Dirty
Saints. These bands are one step closer to
receiving the recognition they deserve. Global Battle of the
Bands provides a great platform for up-and-coming bands of
all genres, to launch their careers, and make it big!
The NZ National Final will be conducted on Sun 7 April from 8pm. It will be an exciting night with Music Industry Judges in attendance, as the bands showcase a wealth of talent. This will be an event Music lovers won’t want to miss!
The audience can influence the result, with 25% of the marks based on audience response.
