Face Television - This Week’s
Highlight
OUTSIDE THE SQUARE, a
documentary series: Kalashnikov. The
Kalashnikov rifle needs no introduction. In this documentary
we show you its origins, how it’s made and tested, who
uses it, and many more fascinating facts. We take you to the
Izhmash manufacturing plant where the rifles are assembled,
talk to elite soldiers from Russia’s Interior Ministry,
who train with the world-renowned weapon, and hear American
war veterans recall their experiences with the gun. We also
speak to the legendary firearm’s inventor Mikhail
Kalashnikov.
