Mother’s Day is a great time to reflect on how much our mums do for us so The Warehouse has conducted a nationwide survey of Kiwis of all ages to find out exactly what they still rely on their mums for.
Not surprisingly 63% of the respondents still rely on their mum for a bit of advice while 21% of respondents said they still relied on their mothers to lend them money!
The survey also looked into the gifts that mothers prefer to receive on Mother’s Day.
The largest response was for homemade gifts with 30% of respondents saying they preferred something their child had made for them. Vouchers came in a close second at 24% and beauty products came in third.
The Warehouse’s General Manager of Marketing, Julie Garlick said “Mother’s Day is that time of year that we can really show our appreciation for everything Mum does for us, and it’s the thought that counts – whether you make your own gift or buy something Mum has been wanting all year.”
The Warehouse’s top gifts for Mum this Mother’s Day are:
• Homemade gifts: Colorbok
