Students Show Off Their Charitable Side
Students Show Off Their Charitable Side
Event Production students from Unitec Institute of Technology have chosen Huntington’s Disease Association (Auckland) to be the recipient of their quirky quiz show event.
‘Show Off’ is an exciting and competitive quiz show with multiple twists, created and produced by the event students (trading as Enigma Events). Held on May 29th at the Raye Freedman Arts Centre, this event promises to provide a thrilling night for the audience while raising funds and awareness for Huntington’s Disease Association Auckland (HDAA).
The ‘event managers in the making’ have designed the concept of the event based around four different game shows. This will result in a highly entertaining and fun show for everyone who comes along to support the students and the charity.
The chosen charity HDAA aims to ensure the best care and support is provided to people and families coping with Huntington’s disease throughout Auckland and Northland.
The Unitec events students feel strongly that HDAA deserves and needs their support. The students are now busy approaching various sponsors to enable the event to go ahead in order to raise funds for the charity.
Jo Dysart, manager of Auckland’s Huntington’s Disease Association, says “I am so glad to receive the support of the students at Unitec, this event sounds fantastic and fulfills our goals of raising awareness and funds”.
