Saturday 8th June - Korero Mai Ki Ahau continues with its Te Ikaroa Rawhiti by Election theme. This week Eruera Morgan speaks with Ngati Kahungunu leader Ngahiwi Tomoana, about what he thinks are the main issues for his people for this election.

Sunday 9th June - Charter schools are with us and the debate continues around whether or not they should be allowed. The supporters continue to claim that these schools are focussed on increasing student achievement. The general consensus from the opponent’s camp is why aren’t more resources going into existing schools, kura kaupapa and Wharekura instead to help lift student achievement. Eruera speaks with Wharekura o Manurewa Tumuaki Maahia Nathan and Christchurch secondary school teacher Tihi Puanaki to get their views.
