Gifted Kids Presents Young and Gifted in South Auckland
To help celebrate Gifted Awareness Week Gifted Kids South Auckland classes are proud to present “Young and Gifted in South Auckland.” The mini documentary is an inside look at Gifted Kids lives in South Auckland.
“We are so excited to be attending the premiere of this event; Gifted Awareness Week is an opportunity to highlight the importance and value of gifted education in New Zealand. It is also a chance to show the impact programmes such as ours have in the lives of our students” says Gifted Kids CEO Deb Clark.
Also attending the event will be Len Ward, Gifted Kids Board Chair.
The film will follow a day in the life of several Gifted Kids students at their homes, their regular school and at Gifted Kids. It will also see what some Gifted Kids alumni students have been doing since leaving the programme.

“Young and Gifted in South Auckland” has been developed to help raise awareness of Gifted Kids and gifted education in New Zealand and celebrate giftedness during Gifted Awareness Week.
Gifted Awareness Week is celebrated in New Zealand from 17th-23rd June to draw attention to gifted people and the nature of giftedness. This year Gifted Kids are holding several gifted awareness projects throughout the country to highlight the need to educate and advocate the importance of gifted education in New Zealand.
