Gifted Kids Tamaki presents “Young and Gifted” performance
Gifted Kids Tamaki class are holding a performance titled “Young and Gifted” in order to help support Gifted Awareness Week that is taking place from 17th-23rd June.
“Young and Gifted – What it means to me” is a short performance by Gifted Kids Tamaki students to demonstrate what being gifted means to them. The performance will include video clips, music, drama and sharing from students.
The performance will take place at 2pm on Thursday 20th June in the Gifted Kids Tamaki class at Stanhope Road School, Harris Road, Ellerslie, Auckland.
“Our students are very excited to be able to share what giftedness means to them with the local community, says Gifted Kids Tamaki teacher Diana Mather.
Gifted Awareness Week is celebrated in New Zealand from 17th-23rd June to draw attention to gifted people and the nature of giftedness.
This year Gifted Kids are holding several gifted awareness events, projects and activities throughout the country to highlight the need to educate and advocate the importance of gifted education in New Zealand.
