Russell Howard's First Australasian Tour announced for 2014
Live Nation and Melbourne Comedy Festival announced today the first ever Australasian tour by one of the UK’s most successful live comedians, Russell Howard, to be co-presented in New Zealand by Comedy Central.
Russell is writer and star of his own TV show, Russell Howard’s Good News, seen first in New Zealand on Comedy Central earlier this year.
He will perform his brand new show, Wonderbox in Auckland, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in May 2014, direct from arena shows across the UK and Ireland and four consecutive nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

In 2014, Russell will delight and entertain audiences on both sides of the Tasman – returning to Auckland 10 years on since performing as part of the 2004 NZ International Comedy Festival.
Melbourne loved Russell’s energetic and engaging brand of humour when he performed at the 2007 Melbourne Comedy Festival, scoring a Barry Award nomination for Best Show. Sydney had a taste when he performed one solo show at the 2011 Just For Laughs at the Sydney Opera House.
Russell has released three best-selling live DVDs.
His TV show, Russell Howard’s Good News was
recently voted the Best Ever BBC Three Show in the UK, peaks
at over 5 million viewers a week and trends globally on
Twitter during each episode.
