Daniel Bedingfield to Perform Two Concerts

DANIEL BEDINGFIELD

Two intimate shows
August 1 & August 4
Auckland & Wellington

He’s been ensconced in your living room for the past two months as a judge on The X Factor. Tartan-clad, spouting “brutally honest” opinions and slightly off his trolley!!

Now Daniel Bedingfield invites you to join him for an intimate, and perhaps even highly provocative, evening in his “house”. Showcase Entertainment and Insanity Artists announce that Daniel will perform in two intimate shows on August 1 in Auckland and August 4 in Wellington. Tickets to these very special shows will be strictly limited and will go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday, July 9).

The announcement comes hard on the heels of Daniel Bedingfield releasing his new EP  - Stop The Traffik Secret Fear, featuring the anthemic new single "Every Little Thing".

New Zealand born, British raised Bedingfield's pop wizardry earned him a BRIT Award in 2004 for 'Best Male Artist', three No. 1 singles with 'Gotta get thru this', 'If you're not the one' and 'Never gonna leave your side' and a further three U.K. Top 10 singles and four million in album sales from 2001 to 2004. During this time Daniel only ever played one New Zealand concert at Vector Arena so his return is long overdue.

What to expect at the shows? A 90-minute + live concert where Daniel and his band will take the fans, old and new, on a musical adventure that moves adroitly between dance-floor bangers and R&B-spiked rock, between freak-funk and chilling piano ballads, between effects-heavy electro and sunny island reggae. All brim with his distinctive melodic sense and arching romanticism. One thing is for certain, he just can’t wait to get back to what he does best, entertaining a live audience.
