Rhythm and vines second line up announcement

Rhythm and vines second line up announcement

Rhythm and Vines is proud to announce an impressive selection of artists added to the bill for the festival’s 2013 line-up.

Performing for the first time ever in New Zealand is Wiz Khalifa, an American rapper and songwriter best known for his Billboard number one hit Black and Yellow.  The rapper started writing hip hop songs at age 9, and has since gone on to work with Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Akon, and 2 Chainz.  Wiz Khalifa came into the limelight in 2005 and is highly rated as one of the top rappers in the USA.

Rhythm and Vines are proud to be bringing Hospitality Records to the festival stage once again. Due to popular demand the UK label are bringing some of their finest DJ’s including Camo & Krooked, High Contrast, Danny Byrd, Metrik and Dynamite MC.

Kill the Noise is the buzzing young producer and DJ whose unique take on electronic dance music has kept him rocking around the globe; from packed nightclubs to sold-out festivals such as Coachella, EDC, Lollapalooza and Hardsummer. His music has been released on some of dance music's most prestigious record labels including Deadmau5's Mau5trap Recordings, and his own imprint, Slow Roast Records.

Ayah Marar is a name the entire dance music community is talking about right now.  Dubbed 'The Queen of UK Bass' she has released singles on Ministry of Sound and Hospital Records and now on her own imprint Hussle Girl.  Ayah will be playing live at R&V. She can count Calvin Harris as a musical collaborator with the hit Thinking About You which went top ten in 5 European countries.  Now that she has paid her dues, she's ready to become the biggest female artist in dance music.
