Whanganui UCOL printers make an impression

Four Whanganui UCOL print makers have had their work selected for the National Printmaking Exhibition, First Impressions.

Lecturers Jo Giddens and Marty Vreede along with Bachelor of Fine Arts students Dianne Harries and James Graves, will exhibit their work at the Mairangi Arts Centre in Auckland.

Well-known Whanganui print maker Julia Ellery was also invited to exhibit.

Supported by the Central Print Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (CPCANZ), the exhibition showcases printmaking from artists across New Zealand and includes displays, demonstrations, studio visits and workshops.

First Impressions opens on Wednesday 9 October and runs until Saturday 9 November 2013.
