Let the tour begin: Beyondsemble national tour 1-30 November
Let the tour begin – Beyondsemble national tour 1 - 30 November
An insatiable love of making music – and audiences’ love of Beyondsemble - has led to another national tour for these masterly musicians.
On the road from 1 November, Craig Denham, Jon Sanders, John Ellis and newcomer Darryn Sigley will play Beyondsemble’s signature mix of original and improvised music, merging Celtic, Latin, Jazz and Gypsy rhythm with their own creativity. These musicians love what they do – and it’s infectious!
Beyondsemble has toured the country every year since its inception in 2009, its members have frequently performed in Europe and the whole band takes on a three month European tour in 2014. Europeans love Beyondsemble too!
Performing as the official pre-show band at for the Wearable Arts Awards in Wellington in 2010, Beyondsemble went on to launch a debut album to excellent reviews in 2011 and won the ‘people’s choice’ competition to perform at the 2013 WOMAD NZ festival, launching their second album there.

About Arts
On Tour New Zealand
Arts On Tour New Zealand (AOTNZ)
organises tours of outstanding New Zealand performers to
rural and smaller centres in New Zealand. The trust receives
funding from Creative New Zealand and liaises with local
arts councils, repertory theatres and community groups to
bring the best of musical and other talent to country
districts. The AOTNZ programme is environmentally
sustainable – artists travel to audiences, rather than
rural dwellers clocking up kilometres travelling to the big
towns. www.aotnz.co.nz
