Refresh Renovations project manages The Kiwi Dream on Prime TV
Home renovation specialists, Refresh Renovations, have skillfully put together a team of experts to tackle the project of renovating what was a 1950’s bungalow in Karaka Bay to a magnificent Kiwi dream home, with Evie Ashton presenting on Prime TV.
The six one-hour episodes will broadcast every Friday at 7.30pm on Prime Television following the ups and downs of a major home renovation project and providing practical solutions to creating a Kiwi Dream renovation. Air New Zealand will screen them on in-flight Entertainment on all flights worldwide.
The 1950’s Californian bungalow has been kept, until recently. By one family for 60 years and has barely been touched. Each section of the home will transform per episode, with Refresh Renovations offering lifestyle advice and tips and solutions. Budgets, deadlines and environmental stability will be covered to ensure the transformation of living areas, kitchens and bathrooms run smoothly.
Presenter, Evie Ashton, is the girl next door “with attitude” – bringing the perfect blend of feisty personality and easy-going charisma to each episode. Evie expertly guides the show through each renovation with gutsy dialogue and lots of laughs.

Since its conception in Auckland three years ago, Refresh has rapidly expanded to 30 franchises nationwide. Jon Bridge, a director of Refresh, says the franchise has just scratched the surface in terms of what it aims to achieve in New Zealand, and they are confident they have the right business model to succeed overseas as well.
“Globally the renovation market is huge and highly fragmented. Consumers in most countries face the same issues as they do in New Zealand with finding quality, reliable tradespeople, and completing cost effective renovations on time and on budget.”
Combining the magnificent uninterrupted views of the Hauraki Gulf and Refresh Renovations expertise, the potential is limitless in this latest renovation series!
