Surf Friends Release Music Video for 'The Sea'
Surf Friends Release Music Video for 'The Sea'.
With froth* levels set at full, and their sophomore album Endorphins out on November 22, Auckland two piece Surf Friends have released a new music video for their single The Sea.
Filmed around Auckland and the stunning Te Arai coastline, the video was put together by filmmakers David Duffin, Kurt Oram, Zac Arnold and the band. Featuring aerial beach shots captured using homemade remote controlled helicopters, The Sea contrasts two characters (played by band member's Brad Coley and Peter Westmoreland) under the pump* at their day jobs and searching for an escape to the ocean.
Watch Surf Friends - The Sea Here:
Produced by Nick Roughan (SKEPTICS), Surf Friends' upcoming second album, Endorphins is filled with pop hooks, dreamy instrumentals and sonic haze. Throw in some David Kilgour (The Clean) guitar cameos, hand drawn cover art and a special bonus glossary decoding the language of surf and Endorphins both looks and sounds like the perfect summer soundtrack.
To celebrate the release, Surf Friends are embarking on an epic* ten-date New Zealand tour, starting this Saturday (November 16) at Auckland's Lucha Lounge. Full tour dates below.
