Calling all Kiwi kids! Santa wants to hear from you

It’s that time of the year again, and Santa and Mrs Claus are waiting to hear from Kiwi kids.

Santa was in touch with New Zealand Post this week and is inviting children around New Zealand to write and tell him their special Christmas wishes - including any presents they hope to receive.

He says he was amazed at last year’s response and is keenly awaiting another bumper load of letters this year.

“Seeing my snow-covered letterbox stuffed with mail is one of my favourite sights. It really gets me in the mood for making and wrapping presents.

Santa says he’s had a bit of time off since last Christmas and is raring to go again.

“We’ve got the full team on standby – myself and Mrs Claus are match ready and the elves and reindeer have been through rigorous pre-season training.

“There’s a lot of work to do – we know that Kiwi kids really love their Christmases – but I’m confident the team will work well again this year and support me in personally responding, by letter, to all the kids in New Zealand who contact me.”

Santa says to attach a stamp and address your letter to him at:

Santa Claus

Santa’s Workshop

North Pole 0001

He says don’t forget to clearly include your name, full address and postcode.

Or visit www.nzpost.co.nz/santaletter and fill in the online form.

Letters to Santa need to be posted to us by 8th December to get Santa's reply in time for Christmas Day.
