Under the Radar presents: New Year's Eve "Farewell of the Bath House" The Phoenix Foundation Followed by Hang The DJ, a mixture of the iconic Atomic versus 24 Hour "Party people" club nites.

The Phoenix Foundation to see in the New Year, and see out the Bath House.

One of the Capital's most beloved venues The San Francisco Bath House will say "see ya" to 2013 -- and to Wellington -- by hosting a party for the ages with two very special guests.
Two acts with a long and storied relationship with the Bath House, The Phoenix Foundation and Bill E (Atomic, 24 Hour Party People), headline the final evening's entertainment, New Year's Eve 2013. The San Francisco Bath House is to undergo an exciting redevelopment into something quite special, but you'll have to wait and see.

Tickets are on sale now through Undertheradar.co.nz, $40, +bf for the whole show or $20 for door sales for those arriving after 11pm after The Phoenix Foundation set concludes.

The Phoenix Foundation cap off a productive 2013, spearheaded by the release of fifth album Fandango, accompanied by a slew of awards and critical praise.

"The Kiwis just about keep their eye on the ball with another set of all-killer no-filler songs that sees their psych-flecked indie pop rolled into 75 minutes of madness"

On the homefront, the track "Thames soup",  a track that stays with you and refuses to leave, was a finalist for this year's Silver Scroll Award and Fandango was awarded Best Producer and Best Engineer at the Vodafone Music Awards. Boom.

DJ Bill E hits the decks following The Phoenix Foundation with his hit parade of 80s Brit Pop and dance classics rocking the Bath House till dawn, in the mould of his legendary Atomic and 24 Hour Party People club nights, a mainstay of the Bath House since it opened its doors in 2007 as a Music Venue.

The Pheonix Foundation and Bill E's Hang the DJ: two of the Bath House's greatest acts, sending out the Bath House, in its current form, in grand style.

"Mate, I gotta say, if you're in Wellington you really can't miss this gig. And if you're travelling elsewhere, then maybe just don't. Simple."

The San Fran Bathhouse is developing so watch this space for an announcement. This final hurrah will be special, and tickets are limited.
