Author information
After researching and writing Fatal Necessity while at Oxford University on a Rhodes scholarship, Peter Adams worked in the New Zealand foreign ministry. Peter’s diplomatic postings included the United Nations, Washington DC, Fiji and Beijing, as Ambassador to China. In 2001 he became the Executive Director of New Zealand’s aid programme (NZAID) until retirement in 2009. Peter lives in Wellington and writes short fiction and poetry.
