New Zealand Open: Ecostore announced as latest tournament sponsor

Leading health and eco-friendly consumer product company ecostore has today (February 23 2014) been announced as the newest sponsor of the New Zealand Open.

The NZ Open will be held next week from February 27 to March 2 2014 at The Hills golf course and Millbrook Golf Resort in Queenstown.

As the latest exhibitor at ‘The 19th’ area, ecostore will promote sustainable practices showcasing the company’s collection of household cleaners, body, hair and baby care products.

Kiwi Malcolm Rands started ecostore with his wife Melanie in the basement of their home in an eco-village in New Zealand in 1993, before expanding and opening the company’s retail store at Freemans Bay, Auckland.

Now stocked in supermarkets and health stores across New Zealand and Australia, plus leading stores in Asia and the USA, ecostore has gone from strength to strength.

Tournament Director Michael Glading thanked ecostore for their support and said it was “great news” that “yet another well-known Kiwi business has come on board to support the event”.

ecostore founder Malcolm Rands said “consumers are becoming aware that many everyday personal care and  household products contain chemicals that can adversely affect their immune and hormonal systems”.

“ecostore leads the world in avoiding these toxins while still providing top effectiveness,” said Mr Rands.
