Cricket Wellington announces Tulsi as Ford Trophy Naming Right Sponsor

Cricket Wellington is proud to announce that Tulsi, a Wellington based Indian restaurant chain, has been named an official sponsor of the Wellington Firebirds. As part of the new relationship, Tulsi becomes the naming rights sponsor of the Wellington Firebirds during the 2013/14 Ford Trophy competition

Cricket Wellington CEO Peter Clinton said it was great to welcome such passionate cricket fans into the team. “We’re always keen to partner with local Wellington companies, and Tulsi represents a fantastic brand renowned for its quality and service.”

The Wellington Firebirds will now be known as the Tulsi Wellington Firebirds during the 2013/14 Ford Trophy.

Monty, owner of Tulsi, said; “I’m very proud of sponsoring the Firebirds. Being a long standing Wellingtonian, I felt this was a great way to share goodwill with the Wellington cricketing community.”

The Tulsi Wellington Firebirds start their Ford Trophy campaign on Sunday in Palmerston North against the Central Stags at Fitzherbert Park, starting 10:30am
