Whanganui UCOL creatives on show
Whanganui UCOL’s Creative Programmes which include Fashion, Fine Arts, Glass and Graphic Design will come out to play during their end of year shows early next month.
The Quay School of the Arts students will showcase their talents with those from the Wanganui Glass School, in their respective end of year exhibitions in November.
Penultimate features works by third and fourth year students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programme and Graduate Diploma of Fine Arts students.
Three Diploma in Glass Design and Production students will present their graduate glass exhibition Liquid Light.
The Penultimate and Liquid Light exhibitions run concurrently from 2 November to 15 November, in K Block at the QSA Wicksteed Street campus. Viewing times are from 10.00am – 3.00pm daily.
The Certificate in Art and Design students have titled their end of year show Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. The show is open for viewing from 11-13 November at the Edith Gallery at the Rutland Street campus.
The School of Fashion’s highly anticipated annual show Runaways will take place at the Whanganui UCOL Atrium on Friday November 14. The show starts at 7.30pm and $15 tickets are available from the Information Centre at the Rutland Street campus.
