Warm greetings Frocks on Bikes fans!

We are very excited to cordially invite you to our collective Frocks on Bikes / Auckland Transport event: Summer Fling event in just 10 days’ time.

Being held at the award-winning revamp of Hurstmere Green in Takapuna on Wednesday 26th November from 6-8pm, it'll be a great way to get your summer biking groove on.

Some of the fabulous treats on offer include:
• Try a super hip and effortlessly light bike by tokyobikes thanks to Sarah & Drew at Blend
• Get your existing bike tuned up for summer with free maintenance checks
• Win a Beth Ellery dress! Just like Beth's page on Facebook to be into win one of her beautiful floral numbers (all sizes available) on the night by Beth + bike
• Check out a super-stylish Mushama&meraincoat...because it always rains intermittently in the 09 and we'd like to keep on riding high and dry.
• Guest speaker Allison Roe - former Boston and NYC marathon winner and now Devonport - Takapuna Local Board member whose is passionate about convenient and effortless cycling
• Oh and free drinks and yummy nibbles - thanks Auckland Transport!

For those city-siders heading over to Takapuna and back, we are planning a couple of multi-modal pilgrimages with bikes via ferry to Bayswater and Devonport between 5-6pm, so stay tuned next week for maps of the routes on our Frocks on Bikes - Aucklandfacebook event page.

All you have to do now is pick out a frock and RSVP to zane.bray@aucklandtransport.govt.nz to register.
