Florian Habicht's film wins NME Award ahead of screening

THIS WEEKEND:
SILO PARK AT WYNYARD QUARTER

This weekend Silo Park is playing host to some very special guests.

FLORIAN HABICHT WINS NME AWARD

Word has just hit the street that Florian Habicht’s film Pulp: a film about Life, Death and Supermarkets has won the award for Best Music Film at the NME Awards in London! It’s a timely prize -- Silo Cinema are proud to be showing the triumphant documentary tomorrow night, 20 February. Florian himself will be on site for a Q and A session, and what’s more -- Mr. Jar-vis Cocker of Pulp will be putting in a very special appearance. Get down to the park early to secure your spot -- the Silo Park Bar and Markets will be pouring from 5pm.

SUSTAINED SILO READING: READERS AND WRITERS MARKET THIS SATUR-DAY

Come Saturday 21 February, the Silo Markets will be looking rather bookish with a uniquely curat-ed Readers and Writers Market from 12 to 6:00pm. It’s a takeover by Auckland’s literary world, with books, zines, stationery and creative workshops to boot.

BOLLYWOOD ON THE WATERFRONT: SILO SOCIAL

Loosen up your limbs this Sunday 22 February and enjoy the Bollywood dance teachings of Aaja Nachle, Auckland's premier Bollywood dance school. A fun ac-tivity for a Saturday afternoon at Silo Park, join friends and family (and friends you haven’t met yet) at 3pm for a free group dance session. Get social, sip a drink from the Silo Bar, or support from the sidelines as the fun unfolds.
