Let It Be
INTERNATIONAL HIT LET IT BE MAKES ITS DEBUT AT Auckland’s CIVIC THEATRE ON MARCH 26, 2015 FOR A LIMITED ENGAGEMENT
Following a triumphant first official tour of the UK & Ireland and a successful 3 seasons in London’s West End, LET IT BE, the international hit show celebrating the music of The Beatles, opens for the first time at Auckland’s Civic Theatre on March 26 for 13 shows only.
The smash hit show established itself as one of London’s West End’s most popular shows when the highly successful production opened at the Prince of Wales Theatre in September 2012 before transferring for a yearlong run at the Savoy Theatre from January 2013 – February 2014, and then transferred to the Garrick Theatre, also in the West End. LET IT BE played a limited Broadway engagement during summer 2013 and now makes its way across the world for its Australasian premiere in Auckland in 2015.
Enjoyed by over a million people worldwide, audiences are in for a rare treat as LET IT BE lets them relive the Beatles meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the heights of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. “This is the show we never got to see!” says Canadian producer Jeff Parry.
LET IT BE is packed with over forty of The Beatles’ greatest hits including: Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Twist and Shout, Get Back, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Strawberry Fields and many more.
Travel back to the magical sixties when all you needed was love, and a little help from your friends.
