CRC Speedshow Top Half Series is Proven Stepping Stone

It’s that time again for keen karters in the upper North Island, time for the annual CRC Speedshow-sponsored Top Half Series.

For over 16 years now the annual 'interclub' series has provided karters from Whangarei in the north to Tokoroa in the south the chance to broaden their experience by racing at new tracks against different drivers.

They’ve got every incentive to do so too, the prize pool this year including $6000 in CRC product prizes, $5,000 in cash prizes, $1600 in cash draws, MG tyre giveaways and an Arai SK-6 helmet valued at $849 complete with helmet bag and $1000 custom paintjob by Headcase Designs worth

.

This year's four-round series kicks off at the KartSport Tokoroa club's Holsters Trade Zone Raceway in Tokoroa this Sunday and has attracted a 100+ strong entry across seven classes from the eight contributing clubs.

As well as individual glory for the drivers, clubs compete against each other for the prestigious Roundabout Kart Shop Trophy.

After this weekend's round the series heads to Whangarei in May, Hamilton in June and Auckland in July.

CRC Speedshow is New Zealand's premier automotive and motorsport expo which this year will be held at Auckland's ASB Showgrounds over the July 18-19 weekend.
