Tickets to New Zealand’s only Eco Fashion Week on sale

Lower Hutt will again host the country’s only Eco Fashion Week, with more than 25 local and international designers set to showcase their designs in the city from 9-13 June.

Tickets are available now at ecofashionweek.nz.

With tickets starting at $10, the event makes high fashion accessible to a wide audience keen to see the latest in sustainable and ethical designs.

Since its inception in 2013, international interest has sparked an expansion to a full four-day schedule—including two runway shows, styling events, an exclusive movie screening and pop-up shops.

Event Director Denise Anglesey is focused on increasing the profile of eco fashion in New Zealand and encourages consumers to think twice about how their favourite clothing is made.

“Often we don’t stop to think about how clothing is created. We want to raise awareness of the importance of buying ethically and sustainably, while proving that eco fashion is cutting-edge and stylish”.

Alongside established designers, more than 40 young designers will also showcase their own unique collections.

Designers confirmed across the two runway shows include:

Miranda Brown - Conscious Cloth
Dane Dagger
Ron Te Kawa
Ghost Train NZ
Heke Design
Cadia Belante
ReCreate
Moi la cu
Karishma Design
Gem Cherie
Designs on You
Anna Herman
Woman of Joppa
Deranged Fashions
Zoe Beck
LilyRose Children’s Wear
