New Zealand Company Home to Luxurious International Bathroomware Brands That Are a Celebration of Design Excellence

New Zealand owned and operated company, Plumbline, recently unveiled the latest, luxury design innovations from four leading brands; Gessi (Italy), Falper (Italy), Bisazza Bagno (Italy) and Apaiser (Australia) to industry, designers and specifiers.

Plumbline founder and managing director, Geoff Wallace describes the new collection as being at the peak of bathroomware design with the use of innovative materials such as glass, leather, bio cristalplant and unique timbers being key contributors to the exceptional design attributes found within these ranges.

Mr. Wallace comments “Italy in particular has a legacy of design excellence and performance, with many of the most sought after design brands originating from there.”

In the realm of luxury bathroomware, these already significant designers have now extended the creative process by collaborating with designers from other sectors.

Falper has engaged leading designers Michael Schmidt and L+R Palomba. Schmidt is a celebrated European industrial designer who has worked on some of our most desired car brands; Porsche, Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz whilst L+R Palomba are renowned architect and designers committed to creating exceptional living environments.

Bisazza Bagno has collaborated on current collections with Dutch based celebrity designer and art director, Marcel Wanders along with Spanish designer Jamie Hayon and Japanese designer Nendo Design to deliver a fusion of ideas and innovations that have extended this leading Italian mosaic tile company into the world of highly desirable bathroomware.

Gessi has a long established design philosophy that brings the concept of ‘private wellness’ to being through sublime products that create a ‘total look and feel.’ Gessi combined elegance and ethical content into their carefully crafted pieces designed for personal spaces that can be a place of personal reflection and connection.

Apaiser is an internationally acclaimed, Australian bathroomware company that specializes in a unique range of stone baths and washbasins that are available in 16 finishes and use materials such as crushed recycled marble and natural raw materials to enhance the therapeutic effects and ritual of bathing.

These new additions to the extensive, quality Plumbline portfolio will be on display in the Auckland based showroom, ‘Evoque’, at 23 Davis Cresent, Newmarket from mid June.
