Vodafone Warriors Deputy Ceo
Five finalists have
been announced for the role of Vodafone Warriors Deputy CEO,
following a job listing that has seen thousands of
applications pouring in for the sought after role.
Since starting the search on May 25th, the team at Vodafone Fantastic Fridays says there have been an overwhelming number of Vodafone Warriors fans wishing to throw their hat in the ring – demonstrating just how great this opportunity could be to the successful applicant!
The finalists for the role

Matt Williams, Vodafone’s Consumer Director who is on the selection panel, says he is impressed by calibre of the candidates.
“What we are primarily looking for here is passion for the Vodafone Warriors – and this bunch all have it in spades. We’re thrilled that, through Vodafone Fantastic Fridays, we’re able to provide this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to a true fan. It’s the ultimate sports apprenticeship and we can’t wait to see how the successful contender enjoys it.”
The role of Deputy CEO to Jim Doyle will include a host of responsibilities that will see the person selected being an integral part of the Vodafone Warriors team.
They will meet and help prep the team for game day at Captain’s Run (the final training session before a big game); attend the Vodafone Warriors vs Roosters game to meet important stakeholders and cheer the team on; and take part in media interviews.
