Imagine Dragons Announce the Rubens as Support Act

Imagine Dragons Announce the Rubens as Support Act for Smoke & Mirrors Tour

Australian rock band The Rubens has been chosen to support Imagine Dragons at their shows in New Zealand in September. The five piece from Menangle, NSW, will join the Grammy Award winners Imagine Dragons on what will be two incredible shows at Vector Arena in Auckland and Horncastle Arena in Christchurch.

The Rubens have just released new single 'Hallelujah', from their forthcoming album Hoops out on August 7th. 'Hallelujah' is a stamp-your-feet, fist-pump-the-air, rock anthem, with a hook that will stay with you for days. Watch the video here.

The Rubens were last on our shores in 2012 supporting The Black Keys, and since then have played more than 120 shows around the world. Their certified Platinum debut album The Rubens entered the ARIA Album Chart at #3 & won the band an APRA Award, and three ARIA Award nominations.

'Radioactive' & 'Demons' hit makers Imagine Dragons are returning to Australia and New Zealand for their biggest tour yet. The success of their debut album Night Visions saw Imagine Dragons touring relentlessly for two years, including 130 headline dates, 50 festivals and a critically acclaimed sold-out tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2013.

Now they're coming back to tour their new album Smoke & Mirrors and the addition of The Rubens to the New Zealand leg of the tour will make these shows not be missed.
Tickets are selling fast and are on sale now!
