WilliamsWarn set to unleash the inner craft brewer at Beervana

Summer is on its way and WilliamsWarn is providing a chance for New Zealand’s beer aficionados to unleash their inner craft brewer at Beervana in Wellington this weekend.

Ian Williams, the Kiwi inventor of the WilliamsWarn Personal Brewery, said Beervana is a great event to meet beer enthusiasts and share brewing stories.

“At events like Beervana we’ve learnt that beer enthusiasts want to own the experience of brewing with friends and family, in the comfort of their own home, shed or man-cave,” said Williams.

“Like our own customers, they are ready to experiment with different styles and tastes. The beverage varieties you can create with the WilliamsWarn are literally unlimited.”

WilliamsWarn has gone from strength to strength, passing $4.1 million in sales in New Zealand as word has spread about the Personal Brewery, which enables beer lovers to make consistently high quality beer in just seven days. The company now boasts a strong community of over 700 keen brewers.

“It’s great to watch our brewers take the system we designed and run with it, whether that means using it to make brews that win international awards or for brewing beer to share with friends while watching the game,” said Williams.

The WilliamsWarn Personal Brewery is a new product category and with the world’s beer market valued at US$500 billion per annum, the company now has its sights on both Australia and the USA and the company is hard at work preparing its distribution channels.

Williams has always had a deep passion for brewing. Prior to creating the Personal Brewery, he travelled through more than 20 countries as a brewing consultant, advised on the processes of 60 international breweries and became the first New Zealander to be accepted as a Brewmaster by the Institute of Brewing in London. He also produced a Tiger beer in 1998 that won the title of World’s Best Lager at the Brewing Industry International Awards

To help Kiwi brewing enthusiasts hone their craft, Ian Williams and his team will be showcasing the WilliamsWarn Personal Brewery at Beervana at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, on August 14 and 15.
