Jockey to bring back its jaw-dropping
fashion show at New Zealand Fashion Week
Muscles, a runway, rugby players and Jockey briefs can only mean one thing - Jockey is returning to the catwalk at New Zealand Fashion Week with its stellar line up of All Blacks and All Black Sevens players.
This year’s fashion front row will be treated to Malakai Fekitoa, Ryan Crotty, Andy Ellis, DJ Forbes and newly appointed All Blacks Sevens captain Scott Curry all rocking the new Jockey range and little else, as part of Jockey’s Behind Every Great Man summer campaign.
“Having the boys walk in the Jockey show was so well received last year that we had to come back for round two! But to keep the show fresh and exciting, we have incorporated a few new elements into the format. The audience should be pleasantly surprised” says Will Radford, New Zealand Marketing Manager for Jockey.
The players will be walking in a special one-off appearance showcasing the new season range as part of the Resene Designer Selection Show.
Jockey Ambassador and top Kiwi model Nikki Phillips will be joining the boys down the runway strutting her stuff in this summer’s upcoming Parisienne and Performance collections.
“Nikki brings so much personality and enthusiasm to the Jockey brand, so we are thrilled to have her back to join the boys on the catwalk. With her all previous modelling experience, Nikki does a great job supporting the players and amping them up just before they walk the show.” Says Radford.
The show will take place on Thursday 27th August at 3:00PM at the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre.
For the chance to attend this must-see event, head to Jockey NZ Facebook page and go into the draw to win a double pass to see the boys walk the catwalk. You will even get access to the exclusive Jockey wrap party after the show.
The Behind the Every Great Man campaign showcases the All Blacks and All Blacks Sevens in the new Jockey Summer 2016 range and will be available from August in Farmers, Rebel Sport and independent retailers.
Jockey is the official off-field sponsor of the All Blacks and All Blacks Sevens.
