The Others Way Festival Adds More Bands

The Others Way Festival Adds More Bands

Flying Out and 95bFM are super pleased to announce that The Others Way Festival is getting both bigger and better.

Due to ticket demand and a commitment to making things even more awesome, The Others Way have added Neck of The Woods to the list of music venues participating in the Festival. They will now be joining the big party alongside The Studio, Galatos (upstairs and downstairs), Whammy Bar, Wine Cellar and The Flying Out Basement. Despite the extra space this allows, the Festival is still heading for a sell out, so don’t leave getting tickets until it is too late.

Just to add some extra new-fangled decorations to an already epically scrumptious cake The Others Way are also adding four more artists to the lineup… Critically acclaimed shoegaze-pop group She’s So Rad will be taking the stage, along with Dunedin's freshest outcrop of jangling guitars, Kane Strang. Genre-twisting local bfm chart-toppers Soccer Practice will bring their multi-media experience to The Others Way, as will the intriguing alt-pop upstart October, from Wellington.

These will be added to an already stellar lineup, including the likes of Garageland (playing their first show with the original line-up since 1998), Kody Nielson's Silicon fresh from the release of his debut album on Domino Records subset Weird World. They're joined by the intimidating voice of Melbourne-based folk chanteuse Aldous Harding and alt-pop royalty Princess Chelsea, along with Avoid Avoid, Bespin, Carb On Carb, Caroles, Chelsea Jade, Doprah, Fazerdaze, Garageland, Glass Vaults,
Ghost Wave, Heavy, Little Bark, LVJ, Miss June, PHF, Princess Chelsea, Robert Scott, Sere, Solid Gold Hell, Street Chant, Supervillans, The Bats, The Moonlight, Tiny Ruins, Yumi Zouma and Zen Mantra.
