The 14th Latin America & Spain Film Festival (LASFF) will be held in the Te Papa Museum in Wellington over the weekends of the 26th and 27th of September and the 3rd and 4th of October 2015.

The Festival will feature free screenings of recent films from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The twelve films that make up this year’s LASFF provide an opportunity for the community to explore different cultural and contemporary aspects of the participating countries through a wide range of genres, topics and styles.

The LASFF is an annual non-profit cultural event organized by the Embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico and Spain in Wellington. It is supported by the Wellington City Council and the Te Papa Museum.

This 14th edition is coordinated by the Embassy of Argentina and it will include the participation of the guest Embassies of Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela in Canberra, Australia.

The Festival will also be held in Auckland, Birkenhead, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Upper Hutt and Wanganui in association with city councils, art centres and academic institutions.
