Red Bull Thre3style: the Live DJ Battle is Back.

The ultimate live DJ battle Red Bull Thre3style is back with a vengeance. In June 2016, New Zealand‘s greatest party-rocking DJs will be unleashing their big guns in the hope of clinching the local competition and proceeding on to the Red Bull Thre3style World Championship inSantiago de Chile. Needless to say, Auckland will be jumping.

Dust off the decks! Red Bull Thre3style is on the hunt for the country‘s most talented DJ with the freshest style and party cuts. The floor will open to applicants from March 1-31; our best turntablists simply need to upload a five minute video showcasing their skills onhttps://thre3style.andalive.com/ for a chance to compete in Auckland. It’s time for our finest DJs to get in the studio and start spinning the five minute banger routine that might change their life.

Returning for its fourth event, Red Bull Thre3style has previously boasted New Zealand Champions Scratch 22, DJ Spell, and DJ Scizzorhands. Want to know what really got the crowds charging? Check DJ Spells 2011 World Finals set here and DJ Scizzorhands 2012 World Final set here.

With a venue still to be announced, Auckland CBD will be rocked with a live DJ battle that will be sure to lay down a few twerks and double fist pumping action. Kiwi DJ legend P Money says Thre3style is bound to get the crowd’s jaws dropping.

"I'm really excited to see the Threestyle competition returning to New Zealand.“ Says P Money. “It's an incredible event. We currently host some of the best DJ talent in the world so I can't wait to see what our local competitors will bring to the stage this time!"

The Red Bull Thre3style World Tour will visit over 20 countries from May to September across Europe, Asia/Pacific and the States. A panel consisting of legendary DJ’s and past Red Bull Thre3style winners will judge competitors on their originality in song choices, confidence performing and mixing prowess. The winner of each local event will represent their country at the World Final in Santiago, Chile.
